Letter from Executive Director, New Sponsorship Opportunities Take Shape

As you have likely heard, our Executive Committee made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Spring Conference scheduled for May 11-13 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Although we are disappointed in the loss of this event, clearly the safety of our members – both state and corporate – is paramount. However, our commitment to bringing state and corporate partners together in unique ways continues.

Knowing how important our corporate partners' thought leadership is to our state members, we reached out to gather insight into other options for providing critical education during this challenging time. After conversations with many of our supporters for the spring conference, the NASCA team is extremely excited to offer multiple opportunities to provide true value and impact for our partners' commitment to the association.

A variety of new or modified engagement tools are now available to each Corporate Partner member and at levels to which you are accustomed. This will allow you to reinvest your conference dollars to support NASCA and achieve your goals. This month we are unveiling:

  • NASCA State Collaboratives;
  • Thought Leadership Series;
  • Virtual Connection Points, and
  • Other Touch Points for our supporters.

Each of these new or reimagined opportunities highlights our partners as trusted sources and informed leaders in the private sector, and as our go-to individuals who share expertise and innovative ideas. These levels of engagement allow for the most robust dialogue around our state members’ most challenging questions. Additionally, these strategic touch points allow for relationship-building and maximization of time while adding your voice to vital conversations around state government operations.

I also want to take this time to reiterate that NASCA can only provide value to our members through the generous investment of our Corporate Partners. Currently, the association does not rely on grants or project dollars to support the work. It is our private sector partners that allow us to share the most effective and efficient strategies to states. I hope you take a moment to see if one of the options is a viable strategy for you to assist state chief administrators and their teams in strategically transforming state government operations through the power of shared knowledge and thought leadership. It’s our mission and goal for the association.

It’s my hope that you select an option from the newly revised 2020 Sponsorship Prospectus Addendum. Several have limited spots available or are time limited.
